Health Care Consultant Joins MedExpress Team

AUGUSTA, GA., --- MedExpress Clinic, LLC is pleased to announce Ron Piccione has joined the company as health care consultant for corporate operations and was appointed a member of the board of directors. Piccione will act as a professional advisor assisting the founder in analyzing and developing new site locations, developing business plans, pro forma documents and protocols as well as compliance programs to meet and exceed federal and state laws.
A resident of Charleston, South Carolina, Piccione has more than 35 years of senior management experience in the health care industry and has worked with large hospital systems and physician group practices in Louisiana, South Carolina and Texas. Prior to moving to Charleston, Piccione owned a health care consulting firm in Louisiana.
Piccione received an undergraduate degree in economics and management from the University of Louisiana, a masters degree in health science administration from St. Francis University and Louisiana State University and completed a doctorate fellowship program with Sisters Charity Healthcare and the University of Houston. In addition, Piccione serves on numerous community-based boards and committees including Charleston Southern University, Medical University of South Carolina, East College Professional Institute, Trident United Way, Visions Council, SC Project Care and South Carolina Health Managers Association.
