MedExpress Is Now ExpressHealth Inc.

February 17, 2008

Augusta, GA.--- MedExpress Clinics announced plans to change their name. The new name will be ExpressHealth Inc. The community will begin to see the new name as it is integrated throughout various mediums during the month of February. The company decided to change their name, after learning another health care provider in West Virginia was also using the name MedExpress and had obtained a trademark on the usage.

“It is our intent to grow our business so that more individuals can benefit from fast, friendly and affordable health care. Knowing that someone else out there was using our name, we decided it would be best to come up with a name that would grow with us and best represent our mission and how we provide health care services to the community,” said Phil McElhaney, founder of ExpressHealth.

ExpressHealth, formerly MedExpress, opened its doors in July 2007 as an option to traditional health care. As one of several new retail health care clinic companies in the United States, ExpressHealth is part of a growing trend, as people want access to health care services that are more affordable, convenient and quick.

“We feel that our new name, ExpressHealth, presents our mission and image in the community as a quality health and wellness center,” said McElhaney.
