Our Corporate Staff

Phil McElhaney is the founder of ExpressHealth Inc. He focuses on strategic planning, financing, as well as site selection. Phil has founded and co-founded several other businesses in a variety of industries such as health care, professional services, and transportation. His businesses include kidney dialysis clinics, funeral homes, and a certified public accounting firm.

Karen DeGange is responsible for corporate administration and assists Phil in business decision and policy matters. Karen also serves as the main liaison between the head nurse in each clinic location and the corporate office.

Mike McElhaney is responsible for corporate development projects. He works with architectural, clinic design and construction consultants to ensure a consistent, professional and comfortable atmosphere at each ExpressHealth clinic. In addition, he assists with site selection, information technology, and human resources matters.

Dan Brewer is responsible for ExpressHealth's OTR division serving truck drivers throughout the southeast by providing basic medical care, DOT physicals and drug screening services. Dan's 30 years in transportation includes all aspects of the industry, from company start up to driver recruiting, training and management including driver appreciation events at major truck stops.

Our Medical Directors and Clinical Staff

ExpressHealth's medical directors provide consultation and supervisory services to our advanced practice registered nurses. Currently we have the following physicians on staff:

Frederick A. Merrill, III, D.O., serves as Primary Medical Director. He is a senior partner and co-founder of Family Physicians of Evans in Evans, Ga. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Merrill has practiced family medicine since 1989. He also is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Daren Marionneaux, M.D., serves as Assistant Medical Director. Dr. Marionneaux is a partner and co-founder of Family Physicians of Evans. A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Dr. Marionneaux has practiced family medicine since 1994. He also is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
